Kim and Chris are married! {Tybee Island Wedding Photographer}

When I was a teacher, we were not supposed to have favorite students.  As a wedding photographer, I am not supposed to have favorite weddings - but I totally do.  Kim and Chris's wedding was right up there at the top of my list.  I don't even know where to begin.  Kim and I first spoke last fall and hit it off immediately after learning our shared passion for running, particularly the marathon and half marathon.  I couldn't wait to meet this bride in real life as she traveled to Tybee Island, Georgia for her destination wedding.  And let me tell you, she is awesome!!  I learned yesterday that Kim used to work with The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and for those of you who know me, you know that is a cause very close to my heart.  We have both lost a friend from these types of cancer, and we even cried together about it after learning this shared experience.

Kim, an Oklahoma native and Oklahoma State University Alum married Chris, the man of her dreams in a beautiful beach wedding on Tybee Island.  Surrounded by their closest friends and family both in the audience and as musicians for their ceremony, they exchanged their vows before the sun went down.  Their reception was held at the historic Tybee Lighthouse and the setting couldn't have been more perfect.  Kim couldn't wait for her buffet dinner which was catered by The Lady and Sons (Paula Deen, for those of you who may not know) and the photo booth which was a huge hit at the reception.

I could seriously go on and on and on, but it's time to let the photos speak for themselves.  Kim and Chris, thank you for the honor of capturing your wedding, I am blessed to have met you both and look forward to a lifelong friendship.  Congratulations and best wishes to you both!

I had to include these next two:  The cat was on the dance floor and didn't move, even when people started dancing!
